Maintaining Your Center

Hello Beautiful Spirit!
I hope you are feeling grounded and attuned to your center, a part of me that I have found is natural to be in a state of flux. I have not found my center to be hard and immobile, nor have I found that a perfect state of harmony, as we see it traditionally, is normal and perhaps, even healthy to pursue? We are such changing creatures, I think it is because we are so expansive in nature.
In the past, I was a person who habitually and excessively put a goal, obligation or "should" ahead of my state of being. It still creeps up sometimes today in seasons of great change. But then I remember, constantly reaching for a perfect state of being made me lose sight of my core intentions for my heart and mind. The intentions were not stable because I lived more for an idea of finite origin, rather than the organic, fruitful intentions of my soul.
Now, with all of the tools I have added to my little toolbox, the experience of so much energy coming up in times of transition has been less stressful and honestly, more endearing. Coming back to my ever evolving center with understanding, meditative awareness and simply giving myself the grace to do nothing has help my healing transitions to be less daunting. Instead of "shoulding" myself all the way to a finish line, I am thankful that I can now give myself the space to evolve. Self-Nurture.
All of my internal practices have helped me to go inward with compassion instead of judgment. Learning to be aware of my thoughts and decipher what stories were imprinted upon my mind and agreed to unconsciously vs the guidance of my true essence, has helped me to see more clearly. It also give me the ability to have more loving compassion for others.
In the midst of the transitions of life, it is my prayer that you are taking care of your heart with space to reflect, your body with delicious whole foods, and your mind with time to breathe and be still.
I created the Centering Meditation below for you just in case you need it.

Peace & Love From My Heart,
DeeDee
