Clearing Your Energy In Times of Chaos

Clearing your energy can be as simple as removing yourself from a toxic environment and taking a walk in nature.

Or maybe not?

In times where everything seems to be screaming for your attention and your time, coming home to your heart may seem impossible. BUT. There are a few things you can do to build a foundation of “me first,” which means I will fill my heart with ease and love, and that love will radiate out to the parts of my life that I can love with ease.

First you must give yourself permission to be at peace with what is in your reach. Your heart, your immediate family, and your work. Or as I like to call it, my craft.  When your attention is all over the place, it makes it difficult to see what matters the most. Spreading yourself thin, trying to figure out things you cannot touch with your hands or your voice (on the news or on social media) will make you feel like a failure. That feeling of failure can bleed into your heart, making you feel un-useful everywhere else.

Second, give yourself permission to shed shame-based obligations based on pressure. You are a good human and your beauty can be difficult to see in the midst of all the drama and distractions of the world. The toxic environments these days are more than physical spaces. The virtual world you step into when you turn on your phone or your TV is scientifically designed to grab your attention and hook you; using your empathy and your wounds for monetary gains. During times like these when desperation drives manipulation, it is more important than ever to claim your mind and heart.

And lastly, Nature. The one thing that helps me to come back home to myself and remember why I am here.

Why do we calm down in nature? Simply put: because it is what we are made of. When we turn ourselves off from nature, we separate ourselves from the life force energy that can innately cleanse our energy field. Nature is the true expression of reality beyond the concepts of what we are told we should be. The further we get from nature, the further we get from ourselves. When our flustered minds meet the energy of nature, the vibration or frequency of the earth balances us. #science :-) When you walk outside barefoot in the dirt, sit under a tree or take a walk in a park, you re-calibrate your true essence to the natural, peaceful state that has been clouded by modern life.

When I rest in nature, it reminds me of who I am. I am here to be a peaceful reflection of those who come to me for support. The clarity I uncover in nature helps me to uncover the wisdom I need to offer with ease. As I become the embodiment of clarity, my love heals. Not by force, but a harmonic, truthful love inspired by the seasons the earth expresses naturally. From my heart to yours, I believe it is ok to step out of the scarcity-based cycles of society and cater to what matters most.

So, allow yourself to do what you know matters most in your heart. Let the beauty of nature and its reflection of the peaceful power within you, remind you of your true purpose. Whether that is mother, father, sister, lover or friend…songwriter, teacher, or a big-hearted barista. No matter the title, the desire sitting at the root of your heart is a light unto healing. So go ahead. Make your world smaller and pour into the heart of your relationships and your dreams. These are the actions that transform hearts in the microcosm, creating a reverberation out into the macrocosm, shaping the future.

With Love and Sincerity,
